Rental Program 

Timeshares are purchased for vacationing; an opportunity to enjoy special moments with family and friends. The first choice should always be to use or exchange your vacation week(s) every year. And of course, you always have the option of letting your friend or relative use your week if you are unable to do so. The last choice should be to rent your vacation week(s). However, we know that vacations are not always possible and if you need to place your vacation week(s) next year, the Universal Vacation Club has contracted with Suite Getaways to assist you.

Suite Getaways wants to be your last choice. This member rental program has been designed as your last "non-vacation" option. It has been designed to assist you with partially offsetting your maintenance fee expense. This is not a "get rich quick" program, but rather a service provided to avoid any vacation week from going unused.

The program has become quite popular, and we are only able to accept a limited number of weeks that we forecast we can rent for you. Therefore, we encourage you to mail your contracts back at your first opportunity and before December 31st. Please note that Gold Members have preferential enrollment. Additionally, your maintenance fee must be paid in full prior to your enrollment.  

Due to the large volume of enrollments and payments, inquiries regarding the program will only be accepted online.  The enrollment forms can be accessed from the link in the box to the right on October 1, 2010. Or, you can email your questions regarding the program to ownerrentaluvc@resortcom.com.

Payment of members net rental proceeds will be paid to the Member approximately sixty (60) days following the last day of the season. For example, some Winter Weeks will be rented through May of each year. Therefore, the first batch of checks will be sent out approximately the first part of August. Rental of members' summer weeks will go through October and as such, net rental proceeds can be expected the first part of December. Additionally, Suite Getaways will continue to rent members' weeks in the second Winter Season covering the months of November and December. Payment of the net rental proceeds for those rentals can be expected early March of each year.

Each Member will be solely responsible for income taxes which may be payable as a result of Member's receipt of net proceeds. You may want to consult an income tax professional to ensure compliance with your own country's tax laws. To residents that live in the United States, Suite Getaways will provide a form 1099 where applicable with Suite Getaway's policies.


PROGRAM REQUIREMENTS  AND DEADLINES:

• WHEN DOES THE ENROLLMENT PROCESS BEGIN?

1. Suite Getaways will begin accepting applications for 2011 weeks beginning on October 1, 2010. 
2. Sorry, no fixed weeks as fixed weeks, or weeks with a reservation already attached, or vacation banked weeks, or rollover or carry over weeks will be accepted in the Suite Getaways Owner Rental Program.
3. No floating weeks with a reservation will be accepted.

• ON-LINE ENROLLMENT:

1. Suite Getaways will only be accepting enrollment information for the calendar year 2011 owner rental program on-line.
2. Beginning on October 1, 2010 you may start the enrollment process by clicking on the link in the box at the right.
3. This special enrollment feature will be active again beginning October 1, 2010.
