One of the most important national holidays in Mexico is "Dia de los Muertos" or "Day of the Dead"
Although is shares some similarities with our custom of Halloween, they are quite different. In Mexico this is a holiday of celebration; one that honors the memories of departed friends and family and welcomes their spirits back for a visit. It is a celebration of life, death, and rebirth. Since is is our traditional Halloween time, we thought it fitting that we celebrate "Dia de los Muertos" UVC style.
In our case, all the members, staff, management and guests who make up our "family" are collectively the "Spirit of UVC". join us to celebrate the Spirit of UVC, and the many memories and friends we have made along the way. We promise you two days packed with information, fun, delicious food and entertainment. Learn more about your Club, vote for your board, and see old friends and new.
This year's events will end in style with our "Don't be Afraid of the Dark" costume party (costumes optional!). It will be a dark and spooky themed dinner party and show, where ghosts and skeletons will send some shivers down your spine. So dig up some of your creepiest costumes as there will be a costume contest with prizes to "die for!". We hope to see you there!

With food and beverage functions, fundraiser and an award-winning Annual Meeting, you will leave informed, enlightened, well fed and entertained. The grand finale is always our dinner party, and next year will try to outdo ourselves and leave you memories to last a lifetime!

How much does it cost?
At UVC we owe our success to the involvement and support of our members.
- The Annual Meeting itself is free to all members, but advanced registration is required. In order to attend the complimentary dinners and theme events, members must register to attend on-line.
- Each membership is limited 2 (two) person(s) complimentary for your first membership account only, regardless of how many weeks you own. For example, if you and a spouse own two weeks, you and your spouse may register for free. It is not allowable to register the husband on one account with a free guest and the wife on another account with a free guest. This is because our priority is to allow members, and not guests of members, the opportunity to register for the meeting. The meeting budget is designed to cover the expenses of members only. If all multi-week owners brought complimentary guests for each account you can see how quickly we would fill up and go over budget!
- In addition to your complimentary registration, you may register no more than 2 (two) guests maximum for a fee of $125 per person. The $125 guest fee covers the food and beverage and other expenses for the guests.
- Registration will be closed at 300 people on a first-come, first-served basis, so get your registration in early! Members registering after the event is full will be invited to the Annual Meeting, but will be unable to attend the special events.

May I bring an extra guest?
Members may register to bring extra guests for $125 per person. (Remember – two registrations for your first membership account are complimentary.) In order to register extra guests, please fill out their names on the registration form, and we will contact you by phone for manual payment via credit card. Any questions regarding extra guests can be directed to cynthial@myuvci.com. Please direct all other inquiries to member services at clubmail@myuvc.com.

How can I meet my UVC representatives?
Round table discussions are scheduled directly after the Annual Meeting luncheon to give you a chance to ask questions and meet with representatives from the different branches of your membership. Throughout the three days of events there will be many opportunities to meet on an individual basis with Universal Vacation Club staff members or any of the Club’s servicing company’s representatives. Staff will also be available in the general registration area before, during and after the Annual Meeting so there is ample time to address any issues that concern you specifically.
